We do not only offer material supply, we support our nuclear clients with the design and specification of electrical products fit for the nuclear space. We have been assessed and selected by world-leading nuclear operators for a number of significant project and contract awards.

Electrical product supply for UK-based nuclear reactor new build

We were contracted to support a global nuclear operator in the construction of a new nuclear reactor, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations at home in the UK.  We were awarded a framework for the supply of a host of electrical products, some of which we played an active role in specifying alongside our various manufacturing and engineered solutions partners.

Products included earth and low voltage cable, cable accessories, bespoke power distribution units, lighting fixtures, enclosures, and a host of consumables.  

Our Projects Division in Southampton managed the full material supply together with the critical documentation required to ensure complete material traceability for the client. Other regional R&M distribution centres were utilised for material consolidation. This joint inter company approach allowed us to demonstrate a number of our core skills, namely major project delivery and reactive supply.
