R&M Electrical Group were pleased to welcome Nigel Atkinson Esq, The Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire to our offices in Southampton yesterday. The Lord-Lieutenant is HM The Queen’s personal representative in the County and is responsible for the organisation of all official Royal visits to Hampshire as well as the presentation of The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise.

Exporting products to more than 80 countries and being prepared to operate in difficult and hazardous locations has won R&M Electrical Group the coveted Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2018 in the International Trade category. We have now been officially presented with the award and we are proud to use the esteemed Queen’s Awards emblem for the next five years.

Group managing director William Crook said: “Winning the Queens Award for Enterprise is a terrific achievement and a great honour. It underlines the progress we have made on the international stage in the past decade. This was a really proud day for all the staff at R&M”
