R&M are pleased to announce that its Baku based operations have been awarded ISO 9001:2008 approval and certification for both the distribution and box assembly divisions of its business.

“We are very proud to have been awarded the certification.  It means that our customers can be assured that our systems and procedures have been audited, both internally and more importantly by an External internationally recognised certification body, to insure that we comply with international standards of business in relation to the service and products we offer, and that we consistently meet the exacting quality targets set by ISO” commented Dhoy Pasa (Manager).

The ISO  9001:2008 certification is recognized in 163 countries, with approximately 250,000 companies worldwide being accredited, and was developed as a result of international expert consensus in best business practises.

The meeting of the ISO 9001:2008 standard assures customers that all activities, products, purchasing, quality control, packaging, handling, storage, shipping and customer service are appropriately managed and controlled within R&M – specifically:

• It is direct evidence of R&M’s financial and ethical commitment to provide high quality, safe products
• It shows that we maintain comprehensive internal audit programs to demonstrate the effectiveness of our quality efforts
• We prove our systems through audits from independent registrars who are governed by strict international codes of practise
• By having the certification it reduces the need for buyers to perform audits and reviews to determine if our quality systems are in place and being maintained.  However R&M welcomes the opportunity to demonstrate to our customers our commitment to our quality management system, and are happy to facilitate customer audits at our premises
