R&M & Vantrunk form partnership (Kazakhstan region)
R&M and Vantrunk are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership agreement between the two companies for the Kazakhstan region.
Vantrunk have been a worldwide market leader in the manufacture and supply of steel cable management products and support systems for over 40 years, with their main product ranges including:
- Speedway Cable Ladder
- Vantrunk Cable Tray
- Steel Framing Systems
Founded in the 1960’s, Vantrunk was the first company in the United Kingdom to manufacture and supply cable ladder products, leading the way with developments in cable management for the North Sea by supplying cable ladder for the BP Graythorpe 1 Platform and applications in the petrochemical industry with ICI Wilton.
The facilities at Vantrunk’s Runcorn site include a 5000m² manufacturing and warehouse facility, and a 2800m² marshalling and storage yard used for major projects. Since becoming part of the Unitrunk Group in July 2000 the company’s manufacturing resources have been significantly increased with the utilisation of Unitrunk’s 9300m² manufacturing facility in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
R&M and Vantrunk have successfully collaborated on supplying cable management products into the Kazakhstan region over the past 15 years, with this agreement formalising and strengthening the existing commitment both organisations feel for each other. R&M has a strong sales force within Kazakhstan which, coupled with their Russian speaking UK based sales team, has built up an open and easy dialogue with local engineers and buyers. We feel that this, in conjunction with the quality of product and high level of service that Vantrunk is able to offer, can only improve our market presence within the area.
