South Coast Business Awards 2015 have nominated R&M Electrical Group Ltd as one of 4 finalists in the Smith & Williamson Award for Best International Performance by a South Coast company.

This prestigious award recognises companies in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight who have developed international trade over the past 3 years and is judged on increasing export activity, expansion of overseas operations, entrance into new international markets and overseas manufacturing.

Export Growth

R&M have increased our export activity over the past 3 years through both our Exports and Projects
Divisions.  Located in our head office in Southampton, UK, we distribute cable and electrical items globally to over 90 locations.  We offer both simple distribution services or a full project management facility, including technical specification, supply chain management and a technical documentation service.

Ideally located to service the marine industry our Marine Division have rapidly expanded to include

growth within the cruise sectors, and through establishing a stores facility in Palma, Mallorca with a view to servicing the luxury super yacht markets.

Overseas Operations & International Markets

R&M work closely with several international join venture partners based in the USA and Australia.  This has enabled us over the past few year to successfully develop oversea locations, strategically located to service our chosen market sectors.

This includes distribution facilities in the UAE (including Dubai and Abu Dhabi), Iraq, Mallorca and R&M owned divisions in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan – see our website division pages for full details.
